I finally feel comfortable with setting a release date that I think I can meet...
Coming February 2nd 2013!
Eeeeeep! Seeing that just makes me so giddy for you guys to read this! I've said it before and I'll say it again, Fighter is my favorite book of the series! I hope you guys love it as much as I do! I love how much the characters grow and progress throughout the book. Plus, I loved getting to add Nolan, a tiger shifter, into the mix. I already know that I will be doing a release day sale for Fighter so be ready to purchase it on February 2nd at a lower price before it goes up! I'm doing this for you guys since ya'll are so awesome and I love you so much! I wish I could meet you all and give you a great big hug for being so awesome! Since I can't, this sale is for you all!
Another thing for you guys...
Yep, that's right, Fighter is dedicated to YOU! The love for the Outsider Series goes above and beyond what I ever imagined! I'm so happy that ya'll love Caeden, Sophie, and the pack as much as I do! My characters are my babies and it means more to me than I can ever express that ya'll love them as much as I do!
Okay, enough of me being all mushy!
Just sit back and stare at Caeden for a little while. Teehee. :)
This is where Nolan, a new type of shifter and old friend of Caeden's, shows up unexpectedly.
I snuggled closer to his side, thinking
I might just be able to take a nap when the doorbell rang.
“What the crap?” Caeden said.
“Do you think he’s back?” I asked,
sitting up.
“No… this is someone else. I think… It
couldn’t be…” He mumbled as he sniffed the air. Caeden strode out of the room
and pulled open the front door. He stood, staring and frozen, his mouth agape.
A tall good-looking guy built like a
football player stood outside our door. He swept his sandy brown hair from his
face and removed his sunglasses. With a smirk, he waved. “Hello Cay-berry.” And to give you a visual, this is how I picture Nolan.
Eeeeeep! I'm so excited to be a part of the cover reveal for the Dracian Legacy by Priya Kanaparti! This cover is so beautiful and designed by the amazing Regina Wamba of Mae I Design!
Genre: YA Paranormal Fantasy Romance
Blurb:
Ren and Axel are caught between two powerful magical races: one destined to end the bloodshed, the other out for vengeance.
Seventeen-year-old Ren Pernell is prophesied to end the war between the Dracians and the Telalians. Priya Kanaparti was born in India, grew up in Detroit, and is now living in Boise, ID. She attended Wayne State University for her undergrad degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology, and University of Phoenix for her Masters in Business Administration. Priya works as a project manager in software field during the day and lives in the world of her characters during the nights and weekends. She had found the love for reading and writing early this year, when she stayed home with her year old and needed something to occupy those 'downtime' hours.
She loves playing tennis on a good summer day and chess during the cold winters, but reading and writing has become a year round hobby.
She lives in Boise with her husband, son and a Yorkie. Dracian Legacy is her debut novel.
It's time for the Fighter cover reveal! (I'm doing this early because I really want to show it to you guys and I said if I got 300 likes on my facebook page I would)
I feel like I have been waiting forever to show you guys this cover!
Yet, I'm going to drag this out as long as possible...
But you're probably already scrolling down the page...
So you can stare at the gorgeousness that is Caeden...
I don't think I can blame you...
He is pretty cute. ;)
But underneath the cover...

*drools* Oh, Caeden, why do you have to be so cute?
I have a "theme song" for all of my books and the theme song for Fighter is Radioactive by Imagine Dragons
And go here for the Outsider, Insider, and Fighter pinterest boards. :)
Okay, now for the description...
First Sophie was an Outsider.
Then she became an Insider.
And now… She’s going to have to be a Fighter.
Nothing goes as planned for Sophie Beaumont. She believed
that her mate, Caeden, killed Travis. But that was not the case. With Travis
still out there she knows he’ll only come at her pack with more vengeance than
ever before. But this time, she’s taking control. No more doing it Caeden’s
way. This time Sophie’s going to do it her way and she won’t rest until Travis’
heart stops beating.
But first she has to walk down the aisle.
I hope you all love the cover as much as I do! It was designed by Regina at Mae I Design. She's incredible and the nicest person to work with. I feel like we went through a gazillion edits of the Fighter cover until it was perfect but I'm very happy with the final product.
I also want to say that there is No Release Date yet. I want to take my time with Fighter and I think it's going to be the longest book I've ever written so just be patient with me. I'll set a date when I know I can meet it. But it will definitely be ready before March (the release date I included in the back of Insider) When I picked that release date my plan had been to finish The Enchanted and Forever first but it felt right to work on Fighter so that's what I'm doing. :) Fighter is also my favorite of the series and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I am.
I've been getting asked a lot if Fighter is the last book. Fighter is NOT the last book. There's one more! 4 books total will be Caeden and Sophie's story. At this time I don't have any plans for a spinoff book for any of the characters you've already met. However, I do have plans for a spinoff book (at this time it's a standalone, not a series) about a shifter you'll meet in Fighter. I have no idea when I'll write it. Maybe after Fighter, maybe six months from now, maybe a year from now. I have no idea, but it is coming. I am also considering doing a prequel novella about Sophie's parents but I have made no definite plans on this so don't get your hopes up too much. I keep getting asked to do a prequel so that's why I'm mentioning it. Also, I've put all "extras" on hold until after I finish with the last book. That way I can go back and finish ones I still need to write for Outsider and continue with the Insider ones. Since the "extras" have gotten to be really long I plan to release two ebooks. One with extras from the first two books and one with extras from the last two books. Why? I haven't even finished with the extras for Outsider and Insider and my .doc is already longer than a novella. By the time I'm finished each "extra" book will be novel length. Whenever I'm ready to work on the "extras" I'll probably take requests for scenes. (maybe set up a poll... Oh well, I'll cross that hurdle when I get to it) In the extras, you can also expect to see scenes not in the book. ;)
If you haven't read it yet go here to read the prologue and a snippet of the first chapter of Fighter.
And here's a teaser from the wedding scene. ;)
Within
seconds the space was closed between us and I really saw him. No one had ever looked better in a tux than Caeden,
of that I was sure.
The
preacher said something and my dad answered but I was too consumed by Caeden to
hear anything. I felt my dad remove my hand from his arm and place it in
Caeden’s. A million tiny zings prickled my body. I stepped up next to him and
smiled.
